TrueConnect: Manage Connection Settings

Using the Manage Connection feature of TrueConnect, you can review or edit connection settings between you and any connected business. Any changes you make will need to be agreed to by the connected business.

To access connection settings:

1. Navigate to the TrueConnect Dashboard.
2. Select Connected Suppliers / Resellers.
3. Select Manage Connection.

Available Settings

Connection Template

Suppliers can create one or more connection templates that automatically apply specific settings when establishing a new connection. The settings in a connection template are the same ones found on the Manage Connection page. Once a template is applied during the initial connection, it cannot be changed.

Supplier Order Access

The reseller and supplier can agree on what customer information the supplier has permission to view. Options include:

• Create and manage orders on behalf of resellers: The supplier can place orders through Resmark on behalf of the reseller using the Reseller Order feature (found at the top of Resmark). This is useful for travel agencies placing orders over the phone directly with the supplier.
• Read-only access to orders made by resellers: The supplier cannot create orders on behalf of the reseller. Access is limited to essential information, and details such as phone number, address, and email can be restricted.

Billing and Payment Cycle

Resmark Payable and Receivable reports will automatically generate on the dates specified by the supplier. These reports help track the finances owed between the supplier and reseller.

Sales Channel

Assign a sales channel to this connection to compare how different resellers are performing. Sales channels are managed in Settings > Sales Channels.

Products

From the Products section you can:

• Change the price category (this may impact the product price).
• Enable or disable which products the reseller can sell.
• Manage how much is earned on each product sold.

Customizable by Reseller

This setting is only available when the connection to a product is first made. It gives the reseller permission to edit the product as if it were their own. Any changes the reseller makes will not affect the supplier's copy of the product or the actual inventory available.

Payment Option (Net Rate or Commission)

The payment option can only be set when the supplier initially invites another business to resell their products. This setting cannot be changed when managing an existing connection.
