TrueConnect: Manage Connection Settings

Using the manage connections feature of TrueConnect, you can review or edit any connection settings between you and any connected businesses.

Any changes made to your connection settings will have to be agreed to by the connected business. Changes possible on this page include - Available Products, Commissions, Payment Cycle, Sales Channel, and more.

To access Manage Connection settings, simply do the following:
Navigate to the TrueConnect Dashboard
Select Connected Suppliers / Resellers
Select 'Manage Connection'



Overview of Available Settings



Connections Template (grayed out if you're editing an existing connection):
Suppliers have the ability to create one or more connections templates that automatically apply specific connection settings. All of the settings found in a connection template are the same ones found here on the Manage Connections page. The connections template can not be changed once applied (upon creating the initial connection).

Supplier Order Access:
The reseller and supplier can come to an agreement on what customer information the supplier has permission to view. These settings include the following:
Create and manage orders on behalf of resellers - The supplier has permission to place orders through Resmark on behalf of the reseller, using the Reseller Order feature (found at the top of Resmark). This feature can be useful for Travel Agencies placing orders over the phone directly with the supplier business.
Read-only access to orders made by resellers - The supplier will not be able to create orders on behalf of the reseller. The supplier will only have access to need to know information, and information such as phone number, address, and email can be restricted.

Billing and Payment Cycle:
Resmark Payable and Receivable reports will automatically generate on the specified dates. (Decided by the Supplier) These reports make it easier to keep track of the finances owed between the supplier and reseller.

Sales Channel:
Sales Channels are a great way for a supplier to compare how their different resellers are performing.

Products: From the products section you can do the following -
Change the price category (this may impact the price of the product itself)
Enable or disable what products are being sold by the reseller.
Manage how much money is earned off of each product sold.

Customizable by Reseller:
This setting is only available when the connection to any specific product is first made. This setting gives the reseller permission to edit the product as if it were their own, any changes made to the product will not have an impact on the supplier's copy of the product, or the actual inventory available.

Payment Option (Net Rate or Commission):
It is only possible to manage Net Rate or Commission when the supplier initially invites another business to resell their products. So this setting can not be edited or revised when managing the settings of an existing connection.
