How do I set up a Chrome OS Kiosk?
You can set up WaiverSign as a kiosk on any device running Chrome OS using the Kiosk for Chrome app. This app is also compatible with Mac and Windows computers running Google Chrome, though results may vary outside of Chrome OS.
The following steps will lock your Chrome OS device to your WaiverSign signing link, preventing signers from navigating to other websites or menus. If someone begins signing and walks away, the app will automatically reset for the next person.
Preparing Your Device
- Download Kiosk for Chrome to your device.
- Generate your WaiverSign kiosk URL.
Configuring Kiosk Settings
- Content: Paste your WaiverSign kiosk URL into the Content URL field.

- System Information: The default settings are fine for this step.
- Browser: Enable the following settings.

- Administration: Create a username and password. Keep this information safe, as you will need it any time you access the kiosk settings.

- Scheduling: Enable the following settings.

- Save your settings and restart the app.
Troubleshooting
- If the app launches with a solid white screen, restart the application. This is common after changing settings.
- To open the kiosk settings at any time, press Ctrl+A.
- If your waiver is not loading, verify that your kiosk URL from WaiverSign is entered correctly.
