How to Whitelist an Email or Domain

If you want to make sure you receive messages from a certain person or company, whitelisting their email address or domain ensures those emails always land in your inbox.



How to Whitelist an Email in Gmail


  1. Click the gear icon in Gmail and select See all settings from the Quick settings menu.

  1. Navigate to Filters and Blocked Addresses in the top menu, then select Create a new filter.

  1. Enter a specific email address or an entire domain in the From field, then select Create filter.

  1. Check the box for Never send it to Spam, then select Create filter to finalize.

How to Whitelist in Outlook


  1. Select the gear icon in Outlook and navigate to Junk Email. Select Add under Safe senders and domains.

  1. Enter the email address or domain you want to whitelist, then select Save to finalize.

How to Whitelist in Yahoo


  1. Navigate to Settings and select More Settings.

  1. Select Filters, then click Add new filters.

  1. Set a filter name and enter the email address or domain in the From section. Choose Inbox as the destination folder, then select Save to finalize.
