How to use Resmark's QR code for Check-In

Resmark's QR code feature gives your team a faster way to check in guests — scan the code on their confirmation and the order loads instantly, no typing required.


NOTE: QR codes will only appear on orders created after the toggle is turned on. Orders placed before enabling this setting will not have a QR code retroactively added.


Enable the QR code feature


  1. Go to the Check-In tab.
  2. Click Check-In Settings in the upper right corner.
  3. Switch the toggle on for Display QR code for check-in.
  4. Click Save.

Once enabled, the QR code will appear in three places: the Public Orders Page, the order's print receipt PDF, and the order confirmation email.

Order confirmation email


The confirmation email includes a Check-In button. When the participant clicks it, they are taken to the Public Orders Page where the QR code is displayed.

Scan a QR code to check in a guest


IMPORTANT: Standard USB barcode and QR code scanners are compatible. A cell phone or tablet camera will not work. A compatible scanner we recommend: Eyoyo USB QR 2D Barcode Scanner


  1. Connect your scanner to your computer.
  2. Go to the Check-In tab.
  3. Scan the QR code — the order number will load automatically into the search field and display results.
  4. If no results appear, make sure your cursor is inside the Search field and try again.
