How to Set Up Gift Cards in Resmark with GiftUp
Resmark offers gift card redemption through an API integration with GiftUp.
Getting Started with GiftUp
It takes only a few minutes to get started. Visit the GiftUp website to create your account. Signing up is free, and real-world usage charges are based on your actual gift card sales, completely external to Resmark. More information on their fees can be found here.
After you create your account, GiftUp will walk you through a 5-step setup process that needs to be completed before connecting with Resmark.
Connecting GiftUp to Resmark
- Navigate to https://giftup.app/integrations, find Gift Up Rest API, and generate a key. Copy the key for the next step.
- In Resmark, go to Settings > Gift Card API Integration Key. Paste your key and save.
GiftUp allows you to connect to one of several compatible payment processors. All money collected through GiftUp can go directly to your bank account or be stored in your payment processor. Keep in mind that GiftUp and Resmark do not overlap 100% on available payment processors, so you may need to sign up for an alternative processor such as Stripe. Refer to the GiftUp knowledge base for more details on supported processors.
Once your account is configured, you can set up your online gift cards and begin selling them immediately using the GiftUp embedded widget.

Redeeming Gift Cards in Resmark
Contact the Resmark Support Team once you have completed the GiftUp setup process. We will walk you through generating a gift card API key to link to your Resmark account. This process only takes a few minutes.
Once linked, you will see the option to pay with gift cards when processing orders:
