How do I set up my product inventory: General Settings
These settings control how your customers can place orders and when they can do so.
After you have set up your inventory date settings, you'll need to define your general settings.
The following options are available for your general settings:
Allow online order: You wish to allow your customers to purchase online from your website or the Resmark widget.
Do not allow online orders: You wish to have your customers contact you directly or in-person to place an order.
Confirm automatically: Upon placing an order online or in the application, it will automatically be in a confirmed status.
Confirm manually: The customer will receive a confirmation, but it will be in "Pending" status until you confirm that you are able to service the order. Once you manually confirm the order, any payment pending will be processed and the customer will receive an updated confirmation.
If you don't want a last-minute surprise order, you can restrict orders from occurring after a specified number of hours/minutes before the start time. For example, with a 24-hour setting, if you start at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, only orders prior to 9:00 AM on Monday will be accepted from outside sources. These customers will be prompted to contact you.
Note: Internal users will still be able to create orders up to the start time.
