How do I set up my product inventory: Availability Limit
The Availability Limit setting lets you control the maximum number of guests or units per launch, session, or trip, as well as set a minimum quantity required for online bookings.
Quantity
Set the maximum number of participants allowed per launch, session, or trip.
Minimum Quantity Required
Setting a minimum quantity restricts online bookings from being placed unless the minimum number of guests is met for that launch. This is useful for businesses that cannot operate profitably below a certain group size.
Internal bookings can override this restriction. For example, if you set a minimum of 5 guests and then book 3 internally, online bookings will update to show only 2 more guests required to meet the minimum. Once the minimum is met, all future bookings for that launch will no longer require a minimum quantity.
The wording of these labels may vary depending on your participant or unit label.

Editing Availability Limits on Existing Templates
To edit availability limits on a previously created template, go to Products > Inventory > Manage Templates.

Editing Already-Generated Inventory
To change availability limits on inventory that has already been generated, click Edit next to the specific inventory entry.

Q: What happens if we have a minimum guest quantity of 5 and we override it by booking 3 guests internally?
A: All future online bookings will reflect the change. In this case, your online booking will show "2 guests required" for that launch since 3 of the 5 minimum have already been booked.
Q: Can I add a minimum guest quantity only for specific dates?
A: Yes, you can set it on a day-by-day basis. You can also bulk edit existing inventory if you want to remove the minimum requirement from specific dates.
