How do I set up my product inventory: Availability Limit
Availability Limit will allow you to set your maximum quantity of guests/units, as well as the minimum quantity required for online bookings.
Using the 'Availability Limit' feature of Resmark Inventory Templates, you can set up the following restrictions for each launch/session/trip:
Quantity: The maximum number of participants per launch/session/trip.
Minimum Quantity Required: Setting a minimum quantity will restrict online orders from being booked unless/until that minimum quantity has been met per launch/session/trip. This restriction can be overwritten when booking internally. For example, if you have a minimum quantity of 5, then all bookings placed online will show that as the minimum purchase necessary to book. If you were to book internally, you can book smaller groups. This feature is ideal for any company who can't operate at a profit unless a set number of guests purchase, to prevent underbooking. Once that set threshold is met, all additional orders will no longer require that minimum quantity.
The wording on how this feature shows up for you may vary depending on your participant/unit label.
Note: To edit availability limits on a previously created template, you will need to go to Products > Inventory > Manage Templates to access this section.
Inventory templates run nightly; any changes to the current template will not be visible until the next time this template generates inventory. Changes made will only impact future generated inventory and not any existing inventory. If you have any questions, please contact Resmark Support.
To edit inventory that has already generated, click "edit" next to the inventory that applies:

"What happens if we have a minimum guest quantity of 5, and we override it and book 3 guests internally?"
All future bookings made online will reflect this change. So if you book 3 guests internally on a 5 guest minimum product, then your online booking will only say "2 guests required" for that launch.
"Can I add minimum guest quantity only for specific dates?"
Yes, you can add it on a day-by-day basis. You can even bulk edit existing inventory if you want to unlock specific dates to no longer require a minimum guest count.
