How do I set up my product inventory: Automation Settings

Create your inventory automatically or have it generate up to a specific date. You can find these options in the Inventory section of your products.

When creating inventory with Regular Recurring Dates, you have two options for automation:

Automatically Create Inventory Continually

• Set your inventory once and the system will continue to create it indefinitely, or until you pause your Inventory Template.
• Inventory will only be created up to your maximum advance purchase day. For example, if you set your maximum advance purchase to 365 days, one additional day of inventory will be created once a day, every day. This keeps you at a rolling 365 days of inventory.
• You never need to return to this page unless you want to change settings.
• Set your Operates From dates to define when inventory should be generated. If your product runs year-round, use January 1 through December 31. If it only operates during the summer, set the dates accordingly (for example, June 20 through September 22). No inventory will be generated for dates outside of your Operates From range.

• You will return to this page each time you need to generate more inventory.
