How do I set up discounts for my products?
Discounts can be added in Resmark under Settings > Products > Discounts. They can also be set up during the product creation process.
Creating a New Discount
Discount Name -- The name you give your discount. It will appear throughout the app and on order confirmations.
Percentage or Flat -- Determines whether the discount is a percentage or a flat dollar amount.
Price Tiers -- Choose whether the discount applies to all price tiers or only to specific price tiers.
Amount -- The dollar or percentage value of the discount.
Promo Code -- Create a custom promo code that you can give to customers for use on public pages. Punctuation does not matter.
Exclusivity -- Determines whether the discount can be combined with other discounts or not.
Price Categories -- Choose whether the discount applies to all price categories or only to specific ones.
Applying an Existing Discount to a Product
- Navigate to the product and go to Pricing > Select Existing Discount.
- Use the dropdown to select any of your existing discounts, then click Publish to confirm the changes go live.
