Your WaiverSign subscription includes everything you need for signers to complete documents from nearly any modern device. By pairing a compatible Android tablet with kiosk software, you can turn your WaiverSign signing link into a dedicated check-in station at your physical location. | Prefer to watch a video? If you are purchasing a new tablet, look for something released within the last 12 months to ensure long-term compatibility. Samsung tablets have been a reliable option for many of our clients. || Tablets that do not support the Google Play Store, such as Amazon Kindle Fire, are not compatible with WaiverSign kiosk mode. | We recommend using a dedicated tablet for kiosk use only. When paired with a kiosk lockdown app, the device will stay focused on its intended purpose and prevent signers from navigating elsewhere. ### Recommended: Kiosk Browser Lockdown [Kiosk Browser Lockdown](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.procoit.kioskbrowser&hl=en_US) is our recommended kiosk app. It offers a one-time per-tablet license with no renewal required. Kiosk Browser Lockdown locks your tablet to your WaiverSign URL so signers cannot navigate to other websites or access the tablet's home screen. It also includes an automatic timeout that resets the signing page if no input is detected, so the next person in line starts fresh. ### Setting Up Kiosk Browser Lockdown **1. Install the app.** Install [Kiosk Browser Lockdown](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.procoit.kioskbrowser&hl=en_US) from the Google Play Store. Once installed, press your home button. A menu will appear asking you to select a home/launcher. Select **Kiosk Browser** and choose **Always**. This locks your tablet to the Kiosk Browser app. To exit later, tap the three dots in the top right corner, select **Exit to Launcher**, and enter your 4-digit passcode. Add your WaiverSign link.** 1. Tap the three dots in the top right corner and select **Settings**. 2. Enter your 4-digit passcode (default is **0000**). 3. Select **General** at the top of the Settings menu. 4. Find **Kiosk URL** and paste your WaiverSign kiosk URL into that field. Configure optional settings.** * **Change your passcode:** Navigate to **Settings > Admin > Settings Password** and set a new passcode that is not easily guessed. * **Add a kiosk title:** Navigate to **Settings > General > Kiosk Title** to display a custom name in the header (for example, "Kiosk 1"). * **Adjust the timeout:** WaiverSign's kiosk URL automatically times out after 60 seconds of inactivity. If you want a different timeout, Kiosk Browser offers its own setting under **Settings > General > Timeout**. If you need the timeout to be longer than 60 seconds, use the **Standard URL** from WaiverSign instead of the kiosk URL, since the kiosk URL's built-in 60-second timeout will override the app setting. **4. Test your setup.** Go through the entire signing process from start to finish to make sure everything works as expected. If you run into any issues, contact our Support Team. **5. For general information about Kiosk Browser Lockdown, visit [android-kiosk.com](https://www.android-kiosk.com/). ### Alternative Option: Fully Kiosk Browser [Fully Kiosk Browser & App Lockdown](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.ozerov.fully) is another option that provides full-screen lockdown with hidden navigation buttons. It offers a free tier, though the free version does not support passcode protection on the settings menu. The paid version adds passcode lockdown for full security. Setup and management are straightforward. ### Alternative Option: Google Chrome If you prefer not to install additional software, you can open your WaiverSign signing link directly in [Google Chrome](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.android.chrome). This is the simplest option, but it offers no lockdown functionality. The URL bar, home button, and back button remain accessible, so signers can freely navigate away from the signing page.
