How do I archive or reactivate a product in Resmark?
Resmark provides the ability to archive and reactivate products. If you no longer offer or need a product, simply archive it! If you ever need to restore a product, all you need to do is reactivate it and verify your inventory is generated.
There is currently no way to delete a product, only archive. Once you archive a product, you will no longer be able to place new orders for it, but it still will exist in previously made orders and reporting.
Note: You can only archive a product if your business was the creator of it. If you are connected to a product using the connections feature, you need to disconnect that product if you no longer want to use it.
To archive a product, simply visit the products page and select the archive symbol (as seen in the gif below). If you have any resellers connected to your product, they will no longer be able to sell it upon archiving. Any outstanding orders will remain intact.
You can easily reactivate a product at any time. Just be aware that upon reactivation you will need to do the following to resume selling it:
Verify inventory
Re-enable automatic inventory generation (if you were using it before)
Verify if you're missing any inventory dates, and add any missing dates
Republish your product
Re-establish any connections with resellers (if you were using the connections feature)
