Getting started with GiftUp

It takes only minutes to get started. Simply visit the GiftUp website to create your account: https://www.giftup.com/, signing up is free, though real world usage and charges to your GiftUp account will be based on your actual gift card sales, completely external to Resmark. More information on their fees can be found here.

After you create your account, GiftUp will automatically walk you through the 5 step setup process that will need to be completed before connecting with Resmark.

Connecting GiftUp to Resmark

Navigate to: https://giftup.app/integrations, look for "Gift Up Rest API", and then generate a key. Copy that key for the next step.
In Resmark, navigate to Settings > Gift Card API Integration Key. Paste that key here, and save.

Note: GiftUp billing and fees are completely separate from Resmark, as it is a third-party integration.

GiftUp will allow you to connect to one of a handful of compatible payment processors that they integrate with. All money collected via GiftUp can go directly to your bank account, or can be stored in your payment processor. Please keep in mind that GiftUp and Resmark do not overlap 100% on our available payment processors, so you may need to sign up for an alternative processor such as Stripe. Once your account has been configured, you can set up your online gift cards and begin selling them immediately using the GiftUp embedded widget.

VERY IMPORTANT:When generating your gift cards in GiftUp, be sure that in your "Items For Sale" that all of your gift cards are set up as Currency backed, and not Unit backed.

Redemption of Gift Cards within Resmark:

Contact the Resmark Support Team as soon as you've completed the setup process of your GiftUp account. From there, we'll instruct you on how to generate a gift card API key to link up to your Resmark account. This process only takes a few minutes to complete.

Once linked up, you'll now see the option to pay with gift cards, as seen in the screenshots below:
