Choosing a Tablet

Nearly any Android tablet with access to the Google Play Store should be compatible with WaiverSign. If you are purchasing a new tablet, look for something released within the last 12 months to ensure long-term compatibility. Samsung tablets have been a reliable option for many of our clients.

|| Tablets that do not support the Google Play Store, such as Amazon Kindle Fire, are not compatible with WaiverSign kiosk mode.

| We recommend using a dedicated tablet for kiosk use only. When paired with a kiosk lockdown app, the device will stay focused on its intended purpose and prevent signers from navigating elsewhere.

Set up launch dates and times for your product on a recurring schedule or variable dates for special events. Find these settings in Products > Inventory.

When setting up your product dates, choose one of the following options:

Regular Recurring Dates

Choose this option if your product runs on a consistent schedule (for example, every weekday or every Saturday). After selecting this option, continue to the Time section below.

Variable Dates

Choose this option if your dates are random or have no pattern. After selecting this option, you will set start and end times for each individual date.

Finding a Suitable Document

The easiest way to add your document to WaiverSign is by copying the text from an existing file and pasting it in. Most common file types work, including .pdf, .docx, and .txt. If your document doesn't allow copying (for example, a scanned PDF), try running it through an OCR converter. Google Drive offers a free option.

Adding a New Document

Navigate to Create & Edit Documents > New Document.
Enter a Document Name. This title will be visible to people signing your document.
Paste your waiver content into the Document Content area. We recommend pasting one paragraph at a time so you can catch formatting issues as you go.

| Tip: To paste without formatting, use Ctrl+Shift+V on Windows or Option+Shift+Command+V on Mac.

1. Creating and Configuring a GA4 Property

Step 1: Create a GA4 Property

Go to analytics.google.com and sign in or create an account.
In the left menu, click Admin, then select Create Property.
Name your property, set your time zone and default currency, and click Next.
When prompted, choose No for "Migrating from Universal Analytics."
Select Web as your platform.
Enter your website's homepage URL and make sure Enhanced Measurement is turned on before creating the stream.
